Homemade Tan Removal Scrub for Face & Body

Being an Indian Woman and coming from Ayurvedic Background I often tent to rely more on natural beauty remedies than beauty products. In this Post, I'm gonna share one of my all time favorites Homemade Tan Removal Scrub for Face & Body. And I'm pretty sure some of you would have already tried it coz' this is quite popular diy recipe in India. If you haven't then you should, it will not only removes the sun tan but also make your skin glow. I myself use this every once in a while when I've uneven sun tan or feel like I need that extra care. So, without any further ado let's get in to the DIY RECIPE:


Ingredients Needed


  • 1 Cup of Gram Flour
  • Full Fat Plain Yogurt 
  • Sandalwood Powder
  • A pinch of Turmeric Powder
  • Milk as per requirement 
  • Few Drops of Lemon (Optional)


Directions

Take all the ingredients in a bowl  and mix them all together. Then, massage the paste onto your entire body and then let it dry. Once it's dry properly scrub it off dry with just your finger tips. And voila you are ready to take shower. Once you done with shower moisturize your skin well and trust me your skin will look so flawless.

The gram flour in this scrub will remove the dead skin cells and impurities from your skin. Turmeric aids in evening out your skin tone and removing tan (It's a natural soother). It's also anti-inflammatory in nature and a natural astringent that can help lighten your skin tone. Plain Yogurt is anti-aging in nature. It help to treat acne and Sunburn. It will also moisturize your skin and will reduce discoloration. Lemon has anti-aging properties and it also help remove acne, pigmentation and excess oil from your skin. Lactic acid in milk will help reduce pigmentation, heal dry skin, hydrate skin, heal acne and relieve sunburn. In short, this is a magical scrub to remove sun tan from face & body instantly.
