My Favorites Picks from RheSon Fashion Line
Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor have been considered style icons for years in India. Hence their Brand Rheson doesn't come as a surprise for me. I think they are meant to be in the Fashion Industry (considering how popular they have become over the past decade in term of fashion). The Kapoor sisters launched their new line of clothing and accessories, 'Rheson' in May 2017 with Shoppers Stop and later with Amazon India. Their partnership with Shoppers Stop meant that the brand would be sold at metros as well as smaller cities making the brand accessible to a large demographic.
Rheson (RHEa + SONam; pronounced 'reason') is perfect high street fashion brand for fashionable young Indian Women and is designed to be quirky, affordable and for daily wear. It also claims to be more fun than hautecouture, How cool is that! They are bringing quality clothing and modern silhouettes together at an affordable price. The first of it's kind, the brand aimed to position Indian retail on the global fashion map.
What to expect from Rheson?
You can find trends from the 80’s and 90’s which will take you down the memory lane (such as school stationery on shirts). Not only that, the clothes are super affordable too, with t-shirts from as low are Rs. 799!Their product line includes; T-shirts, jeans, shirts, palazzo saris, sheer hoodies etc. With an emphasis on day-wear that is age-agnostic, the Rheson collection is contemporary Indian with a modern twist. The kurtas can be worn as T-shirts with jeans, the mogra flower has inspired a black and white collection, including a crop top (Rs1,099) and palazzo saris (Rs3,299), and the candy print finds its way on to a button-down dress (Rs1,799).
Besides clothes, Rheson includes a range of non-leather handbags, bucket bags, box bags, stacked circle draw-cord sling bags and flap-over backpacks, artificial jewellery and shoes etc.
They also want to introduce more sustainable clothing in their future collections but for the moment they are focusing on delivering good quality at a good price.
